About
Saroj was founded in 2022 as an early childhood care and education centre under the Gandhi Seva Sadan Charitable Trust (GSSCT). The school is named after the late Smt. Sarojini Amma, educator, social reformer and co-founder of GSSCT. Starting its journey as a playgroup and nursery providing outstanding care to young children, Saroj has now progressed to becoming a full-fledged foundation school for early education. Our motto is “Strong Foundation for a Bright Future” in the understanding that the early years form the bedrock of the child’s progress and success as they grow up.
Saroj is governed by a School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) guided by the Trust, and has an active Parent Teacher Association. We have facilities such as play area and classrooms equipped with smartboards; the teachers are fully trained and qualified and are committed to providing individual attention and care to all enrolled students. Our goal is to provide children with spaces where they feel safe and valued; and where they can fully explore their creativity and innate skills. We aim to impart education that is not burdensome, but helps in the child’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in a joyous learning environment.

From the Chairperson’s Desk
At Saroj, we believe in unleashing the innate excellence in every child. The emphasis is on nurturing better human beings who always bring out the best in them. Our goal is to foster a learning environment where education is the culmination of a child’s world view and not merely an academic reflection. A good education is the foundation for a better future.
We believe in encouraging children to be ‘just kids’, but at the same time teach them to be generous, cooperative and well-behaved
We provide a cohesive and effective curriculum that meets the need of each student. Instead of just listening to the teachers and working with pencil and paper, our students are given practical learning aids and are wholly immersed in their learning process.
Our aim is to attain optimal outcomes in domains of physical and motor development, cognitive development, socio-emotional and ethical development, cultural development and development of communication and early language, literacy and numeracy.
